Funny that we both have written haikus/senryus about eggshells, lol. Was this for ViM’s challenge? I love the cherry pie line 🙂

Thank you! I’m glad it maybe gave you a bit of joy today to stop and look around. I know I needed the brief reset 🙂

Just as powerful on the reread. Immediately set the tone and then the feelings of dread crept in until the reveal. Really well done, my friend 🙂 I hope this places!!

Thank you so much, Celia 🙂 And I like ‘sclever’ whether it was a typo or not. Reminds me of ‘shmexy’ lol.

Thank you! I don’t think it’s hard to do. Always something on our minds or hearts keeping us occupied. And I love the image too…it was something I didn’t use for another piece but really wanted to write something for it 🙂

I love how this felt like it snowballed a bit as each line hit and then the repetition with the add-ins began, and it felt like a personal unraveling. Very effective and sadly a little too relatable. Wonderful work 🙂

Grounding is an essential part of enjoying the simple things. I too have bunnies and they are eyeballing my romaine. Nice work and I love the lead image.

Ah felt this one. I often get annoyed at myself for not stopping enough and taking in the beauty around me. Well written and love that image!

Really nice, it’s so hard to stop for the small things especially now. The little things bring a lot of joy. This is such a good reminder.
