Beautiful message and I loved the allusions too social media – it really is all just so toxic and false. Feeling the misery is sometimes, I think the only way to move forward.

I appreciate the edginess of truth and life; relatable angst!

thank you for speaking your truth here, agreed with Celia and Rock, sometimes the only way out is through (which is an aphorism that I dislike, but in a lot of cases it’s true)

This is so powerful, Kenny! Was gripped while reading it and as I grew up Catholic…know some of this weightiness. Well done.

I really enjoyed this one, and I’m glad you paired the song, it was a good companion to this piece. Really beautiful flow and rythm, nicely done!

So many beautiful lines in this one Heather, Beautiful things make me cry too. I really loved the ideas and the sense of moments of hope and freedom. The music also paired so well with it! Perfect choice!

I love pairing music and poems together, while I am already in love with the words I want to listen and read a couple more times!
Just got done on my second read with the music playing and it really gave the words so much depth as I read; I feel like I really relate to being sensitive to the good and bad and you captured that amazingly here! -
Cathy Holmes replied 2 years, 5 months ago
Simply beautiful, but I think I already told you that. P.S. I’m still trying to work my way back to finding some inspiration.

Brilliantly done – I love the story weaved into the mundane 😉
Sorry pressed enter and wasn’t done…the concept of a life in a list is so clever and has a real poignancy about it 🤍
Thanks for reading Celia!
This was such a unique way of presenting this, I love how little real life moments are woven into the grocery list. It’s a lovely little window into the voice’s life.
